With the help and encouragement of a lovely and powerful muse, I began my quest to achieve the impossible. One day while she was modeling she took her scarf and blindfolded me. “Paint what you feel, not what you see”, she beseeched me.

Could I make a visual representation of something that doesn’t look like anything? Could I turn pure feeling into a painting?
